Custom Stainless Steel Brackets and Support Structures

t475-23

t475-23

A custom stainless steel bracket is a load-bearing mounting part fabricated to the exact dimensions and loads of a specific installation. At Techno Kol Uzi, brackets and support structures are measured on site, drawn and specified in writing, approved by the client, then produced and finished in our Tel Aviv factory.

What a custom stainless steel bracket is used for

Standard brackets rarely fit every wall, slab, or structural detail. A custom bracket is designed around the actual anchoring surface, the weight it carries, and the direction of the forces acting on it. Contractors use them to support canopies, cantilevered shelves, handrail posts, equipment platforms, signage, and mechanical units where off-the-shelf parts will not do the job.

Stainless steel is chosen when the bracket must resist moisture, salt air, or cleaning chemicals over many years, and when a clean, finished look is part of the design.

Our process from inquiry to installation

Every project starts with an inquiry and photos of the location. We then visit the site to measure the anchor points, wall or slab conditions, and clearances. From these measurements we prepare a drawing and a written specification covering dimensions, material grade, fixings, and finish.

Materials and finishes we work with

We fabricate in stainless steel and, where the design calls for it, combine stainless parts with iron or aluminum elements. Cutting, bending, drilling, and welding are carried out in the factory so that each piece fits the measured opening accurately before it leaves the workshop.

Finishing options include brushed or polished surfaces. Where galvanizing or powder coating is needed on other steel components of the same structure, we arrange it as part of the production sequence.

Load, safety, and engineering checks

A bracket is only as good as the load path behind it. Before production, we review the expected loads and the anchor method together with the client or the project engineer. Our practice is to confirm the design basis in writing rather than assume it.

For railings and guarding, the Israeli standard SI 1142 applies. Exact values for heights, loads, and spacing should be checked with the responsible engineer for your project.

Who orders custom brackets and support structures

Our clients include contractors who need dependable mounting parts on tight schedules, building committees with shared structures, architects and interior designers specifying visible metalwork, and private homeowners with unusual spaces. Each group benefits from the same written specification and the same measured approach.

Because we have operated since 1945 and are run today by the third generation of the family, we prefer clear communication and a straightforward result over quick guesses.

Installation and finishing on site

Installation is planned around the anchor method agreed in the specification. Chemical anchors, mechanical anchors, and welded connections each suit different substrates, and the choice affects how the bracket performs over time. We recommend confirming the substrate condition before fixing begins.

After installation, we check alignment, level, and the tightness of all connections, so the support structure is ready for the trades that follow.

Frequently asked questions

Can you make a bracket to an unusual size or shape?

Yes. Brackets are made to measure, so the dimensions and geometry follow the measured conditions on site rather than a catalogue size.

Do I need to send drawings before asking for a quote?

No drawing is needed to start. Send photos of the location and the purpose of the bracket, and we will arrange an on-site measurement and prepare the drawing ourselves.

Is stainless steel better than other materials for brackets?

Stainless steel resists corrosion well, especially in humid or coastal conditions. The right material depends on the load, environment, and appearance you need, which we review with you.

Who approves the design before production starts?

The client approves the drawing and written specification before we begin production. For structural loads, we recommend the project engineer confirms the design basis.

Common mistakes to avoid

Ordering a bracket from measurements taken by estimate rather than on site often leads to misfit parts. Skipping the written specification and confirming the loads and anchor method can cause costly rework later.

Our recommendation

Measure the anchor points and confirm the substrate before ordering, and have the load basis checked by the project engineer. Share photos and the intended use early so the design can be right the first time.

Summary

Custom stainless steel brackets are measured, specified, approved, and produced to fit each installation exactly, from inquiry to site fixing.
