Security Bars Ordering Process: From Enquiry to Signed Specification
t264-12

Ordering security bars starts with an enquiry and photos, followed by an on-site measurement and a written drawing with specification. Once you approve that specification in writing, the bars are made to measure in our Tel Aviv factory, finished, and then installed at your property.
Step 1: Send Your Enquiry and Photos
The process begins with a simple enquiry. Send us photos of each window or balcony opening you want to protect, along with a short description of the location, such as ground floor or upper floor, and whether the opening is in a wall, a frame or a balcony edge.
Photos taken straight on and from a little to the side help us understand the surroundings. Mention whether you already have an existing frame or if the bars will be fixed to new construction. This information lets us plan the visit efficiently and prepare the right questions before we arrive.
Step 2: On-Site Measurement
A technician visits the property to measure every opening precisely. We check the width, height and depth at several points, because walls and frames are rarely perfectly square. We also note the material of the surrounding structure, the condition of the frame and any obstacles such as shutters, air conditioner units or pipes.
Measuring on site is what makes a made-to-measure product fit correctly the first time, so please make sure the area is accessible on the appointed day.
Step 3: Drawing and Written Specification
After the measurement we prepare a drawing for each opening showing the bar layout, the spacing, the fixing points and the finish. The accompanying written specification lists the materials, whether the bars are iron or aluminum, the profile type and the surface treatment.
- Bar layout and spacing for each opening
- Fixing method suited to your wall or frame
- Material and finish details
Read the drawing carefully and ask questions before moving on.
Step 4: Client Approval and Signed Specification
The drawing and specification are sent to you for approval. Production only begins once you have approved the documents and signed the specification. This step protects both sides: it confirms that the design, dimensions and finish match what you expect.
If anything needs changing, such as the bar spacing or the finish colour, tell us before approval. Changes after production starts are harder and slower to make, so it pays to take your time at this stage.
Step 5: Factory Production and Finishing
Once the specification is signed, the bars are cut, welded and assembled in our factory at 37 Rival Street, Tel Aviv, using the measurements taken on site. Iron bars can be hot-dip galvanized for protection and then powder coated in the colour you selected, while aluminum components are finished to match the rest of your project.
Each piece is checked against the signed drawing before it leaves the workshop, so the parts arrive ready to install.
Step 6: Installation at Your Property
Our team installs the bars at your property and fixes them securely to the wall or frame using the method set out in the specification. We check alignment and operation before leaving, and we explain how to care for the finish so the bars stay in good condition for years.
If you have questions after installation, you can contact us and we will guide you through them.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be home for the measurement?
It is best to be present or to arrange access to every window and balcony being measured. This lets the technician check details and answer any questions you have on the spot.
Can I change the design after I sign the specification?
Changes are possible but are much easier before you sign. Once production has started, modifications can take longer and may need a new drawing and approval.
What is the difference between iron and aluminum security bars?
Iron bars are strong and suit most security needs, while aluminum is lighter and does not rust. Your choice depends on the location, the look you want and the structure they will be fixed to.
Will the bars meet safety requirements?
We build according to the relevant Israeli standards for railings and guarding, and exact technical values are checked with your engineer during the specification stage.
Common mistakes to avoid
The most common mistake is approving a specification without checking the bar spacing and fixing method against your actual frame. Taking time at the drawing stage prevents costly changes later.
Our recommendation
Before signing, walk through the drawing with the installer and confirm the spacing, fixing points and finish in writing. Keep a copy of the signed specification for your records.
Summary
Ordering security bars moves from enquiry and photos to on-site measurement, a drawing and specification, your written approval, factory production and finally installation. Following these steps gives you bars made precisely to your openings.
