Custom Iron Fence Design Consultation: How It Works
t307-46

An iron fence design consultation is a structured process in which our team reviews your site, measures it on location, and turns your ideas into a drawn, written specification before anything is manufactured. You approve the design first, so the finished fence matches your property, your privacy needs and your style.
Step 1: Sending Your Inquiry and Photos
The process starts with a simple inquiry. Send us photos of the area where the fence will stand, including the wall or ground it will attach to, and any existing gates or posts. Tell us what you want the fence to do: privacy, security, a decorative look, or a combination.
Photos help us understand slopes, neighboring walls and sun exposure before we visit. This saves time on both sides and lets us prepare relevant questions for the site visit.
Step 2: On-Site Measurement
A member of our team visits the property to measure the exact length, height and ground conditions. We check whether the ground is level or sloped, note existing structures, and confirm where the fence line should run.
- Total length and height of each section
- Gate positions and swing direction
- Ground type and slope
- Attachment points on walls or posts
Step 3: Design Drawing and Written Specification
After measuring, we prepare a drawing that shows the pattern, bar spacing, height and gate layout. Alongside it, a written specification lists the materials, profile sizes, finish and fixing method, so nothing is left to assumption.
Iron and aluminum can both be used for fences. We explain the differences in weight, maintenance and appearance so you can choose with confidence.
Step 4: Client Review and Approval
You review the drawing and specification and ask for changes if needed. We adjust the design until you are satisfied. Production starts only after your written approval, which protects both the homeowner and the building committee or contractor involved.
What to check before approving
Confirm the height, the gate position, the pattern density and the finish color. These are the details that are hardest to change once the fence is built.
Step 5: Factory Production and Finishing
Once approved, the fence is cut, welded and assembled in our factory at Rival Street 37 in Tel Aviv. Every section is made to the measurements from the site visit. After fabrication, pieces are finished with hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating for corrosion protection and a durable surface.
Step 6: Installation and Final Check
Our installation team fixes the fence to the site according to the approved drawing. We check alignment, gate operation and fixing strength before leaving. Any railing or guard element should be verified against the Israeli standard SI 1142, and exact dimensions are confirmed with your engineer.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay for the design consultation?
Please contact us directly for details about the consultation process and how it is arranged. Our team will explain what applies to your project.
How long does the design process take?
The timing depends on the size of the project and how quickly you respond with approvals. Our team will give you an estimate once the site has been measured.
Can I change the design after approving it?
Changes are possible before production begins. Once fabrication has started, modifications may be more difficult, so we recommend reviewing everything carefully before approval.
Do you handle fences for building committees and contractors?
Yes. We work with private homeowners, building committees, contractors and architects, and provide drawings and specifications suitable for each.
Common mistakes to avoid
Approving a design without checking gate position, height and finish carefully is the most common error. Changes after production are harder and more costly, so review the drawing thoroughly first.
Our recommendation
Measure your gate openings and mark the fence line on the ground before the site visit, and note any slope. This gives the consultation a strong start and reduces revisions.
Summary
Our iron fence design consultation moves from photos to on-site measurement, a drawing and specification, your approval, factory production and professional installation.
