Steel Frame Warranty Process: How Claims Are Handled
t488-46

The steel frame warranty process starts with a documented measurement, a written specification and client approval, so every frame has a clear reference point. If a problem appears after installation, the client reports it with photos and details, and our team reviews it against that documentation before agreeing on the fix.
Step 1: Measurement and Written Specification
Every custom steel frame begins with an on-site measurement. Our team checks openings, wall conditions, anchor points and floor levels, then prepares a drawing and a written specification describing the profiles, finish and fixing method.
This document matters later. When a claim comes up, the specification is the reference for what was agreed, so it is worth reading it carefully and asking questions before approving.
Step 2: Client Approval Before Production
Production does not start until the client has approved the drawing and specification in writing. Any change requested after approval is recorded as a revision with its own date.
- Confirm dimensions and opening direction
- Confirm finish and colour
- Keep copies of every approved revision
Step 3: Production in Our Factory
The frame is cut, welded and assembled in our workshop at Rival Street 37 in Tel Aviv. Finishing, such as hot-dip galvanizing or powder coating, is done according to the approved specification. Each stage is checked against the drawing before the piece moves on.
Because the work is done to measure, dimensional checks in the factory are the main safeguard against fit problems on site.
Step 4: Installation and Handover
Our installers fix the frame to the structure and check alignment, levels and anchor security. At handover we walk through the work with the client, note any open points, and confirm the installation matches the approved drawing.
Taking photos at handover is useful for both sides and gives a clear record of the condition at delivery.
Step 5: How a Warranty Claim Is Reported
If an issue appears, contact us as soon as possible and include clear photos, the location on the frame, when you first noticed the problem, and a copy of the approved specification if you have it.
- Describe the symptom in your own words
- Send photos from a few distances
- Note any recent works nearby, such as plastering or drilling
Step 6: Review and Resolution
Our team reviews the report against the drawing, the specification, the production record and the installation notes. We may arrange a site visit to see the issue directly. Once the cause is understood, we agree on the corrective step with the client in writing.
The exact warranty terms are confirmed with you at the time of quotation, so each project has a clear and documented scope.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to report a steel frame problem?
Send clear photos, the location on the frame, when you noticed the issue and your approved specification if you have it. This lets us review the case quickly.
Does the process start before production?
Yes. Measurement, drawing, written specification and client approval all happen before production, and these documents are the reference point for any future claim.
Who inspects the frame if there is a claim?
Our team reviews the documentation and, where needed, visits the site to inspect the frame and installation directly before deciding on the next step.
Can the specification change after approval?
Changes can be made, but they are recorded as formal revisions with a date, so both sides know exactly what was agreed at each stage.
Common mistakes to avoid
Approving a drawing without checking the finish and fixing details, and not keeping photos or copies of the handover record. These make it harder to review a claim later.
Our recommendation
Keep a folder with the approved drawing, the specification, every revision and handover photos from day one. A few minutes of organization at the start makes any future claim far faster to resolve.
Summary
The steel frame warranty process is built on documented measurement, written approval, factory checks, careful installation and a clear claim review. Good records from the start make every step easier for both client and team.
