Stainless Steel Countertops for Hotel Projects in Israel

t464-34

Yes, Techno Kol Uzi Ltd. manufactures stainless steel countertops made to measure for hotel projects, including kitchens, bars, service counters and back-of-house work surfaces. Each piece is measured on site, drawn to the project's dimensions, produced in our factory on Rival Street 37 in Tel Aviv, and then installed to fit the space.

What we can build for a hotel

Our stainless steel works cover the kind of surfaces hotels need every day. Typical projects include prep counters and worktops for restaurant kitchens, bar tops, buffet and service counters, and reception or back-office surfaces where a durable, easy-to-clean finish is important.

  • Kitchen and prep worktops
  • Bar and service counters
  • Buffet and serving stations
  • Laundry and back-of-house surfaces

Each countertop is designed around the room, the equipment underneath and the way staff will use it.

How the project process works

A hotel project usually starts with an inquiry that includes photos and rough dimensions. We then arrange an on-site measurement, because walls and floors are rarely perfectly straight and the final piece must fit exactly. After measuring, we prepare a drawing and a written specification covering the steel grade, thickness, edge profile, cutouts for sinks or hobs, and the finish.

Production only begins once the client approves the drawing.

Choosing the right stainless steel and finish

Food-service areas need a stainless steel that resists cleaning chemicals and daily wear. The finish also matters: brushed surfaces hide fingerprints and scratches better than mirror polish, which suits busy public areas. The right choice depends on whether the counter sits in a guest-facing space or a heavy-use kitchen.

We discuss these options with the project manager or designer before production so the surface matches both the function and the interior look.

Fabrication and finishing in our factory

All countertops are cut, bent, welded and ground in our factory at 37 Rival Street, Tel Aviv. Welds are dressed so the surface stays smooth and hygienic, and edges are finished to the agreed profile. Where a counter sits on a frame or cabinet base, we make sure the supporting structure is planned together with the top.

Installation and fit on site

Once the countertop is ready, we deliver and install it at the hotel. Installation includes levelling, fixing to the base and checking alignment with adjacent surfaces and equipment. Because the piece is built from the measurements taken on site, fit-up is usually straightforward, though the site must be ready when the countertop arrives.

Coordinating with architects and contractors

Hotel projects involve many parties. We work directly with architects, interior designers and general contractors, sharing drawings for review before any work starts. Clear coordination on dimensions, service openings and installation sequence helps avoid delays on a busy site.

  • Share the plan and equipment list early
  • Confirm the finish and edge detail in writing
  • Schedule measurement after walls and floors are finished

Getting started with your hotel project

If you are planning a hotel kitchen, bar or service area, send us photos, the room layout and any equipment dimensions. We will reply with the next steps, including a site measurement visit and a drawing for your approval. Exact values for thickness and load requirements are confirmed with the engineer for each project.

Frequently asked questions

Can you make custom-sized stainless steel countertops?

Yes, every countertop is made to measure from on-site measurements. Standard sizes are not required because each piece is drawn for the specific room.

Do you install the countertops as well?

Yes, we deliver and install the countertop at the site after the drawing is approved and the piece is produced in our factory.

Can you cut openings for sinks or cooking equipment?

Yes, cutouts for sinks, hobs and other equipment are included in the specification and shown on the approved drawing.

Which finish is better for a busy hotel kitchen?

A brushed finish is usually more practical because it hides scratches and fingerprints better than a mirror polish. The final choice depends on the space and how it will be used.

Common mistakes to avoid

Ordering before the walls, floors and equipment dimensions are fixed often leads to a poor fit. Leaving out the finish, edge detail and cutouts in the specification also causes avoidable changes later.

Our recommendation

Measure on site after the room is nearly finished, and send the equipment dimensions with the drawing request. Agree on the steel grade, finish and cutouts in writing before production starts.
