How We Review Your Door Drawings Before Production Begins
t418-12

Before any iron or aluminum door goes into production, our team reviews the submitted drawings against on-site measurements, material choices, opening directions and installation conditions. We send back a written specification for your approval, and only after that do we start manufacturing at our Tel Aviv factory.
Starting With Your Submitted Drawings
Architects and designers can send shop drawings, sketches or photos of the opening. We check that the drawing shows the door overall dimensions, frame profile, leaf sizes, glazing or panel layout, and the side from which the door opens. Any missing item is flagged in writing so nothing is assumed.
- Overall opening and frame dimensions
- Leaf count and opening direction
- Infill, glazing or panel details
- Hardware and lock positions
On-Site Measurement Check
A drawing is only as accurate as the wall it describes. Our measurer visits the site and compares the real opening with the drawing. Out-of-square walls, uneven floors, and differences in thickness are recorded so the door can be adjusted to fit the actual conditions rather than the plan.
Where the measurement differs from the drawing, we note the difference and ask for confirmation before continuing.
Material and Finish Confirmation
Iron and aluminum doors have different strength, weight and maintenance needs, so we confirm the material, profile type and finish with you in advance. Finishes such as hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating are listed by color and application, so the approved specification matches what will be produced.
Written Specification and Client Approval
After the review, we prepare a written specification that includes dimensions, materials, finish, opening direction, and any notes from the site visit. The document goes to you for approval. Production starts only after the approved version is confirmed, which protects both the architect and the client from changes made late in the process.
What the approval covers
Any later change to size, material or opening direction is handled as a revision and reviewed again before the work continues.
Production in Our Factory
Once approved, the door is manufactured to measure in our factory on Rival Street in Tel Aviv. Frames, leaves and infill are cut, welded and assembled by our team, then checked against the specification before moving to finishing. This keeps the drawing, the workshop and the final product aligned.
Finishing and Installation on Site
Doors then go through the agreed finish, whether hot-dip galvanizing or powder coating. Installation is planned with the site team so the frame is fixed correctly, sealed and aligned. Our installers check the operation of the leaves and hardware before handover, so the door closes and opens as the drawing intended.
Frequently asked questions
Do you need a full architectural drawing to start?
A complete drawing is helpful but not always required. Clear sketches or photos with main dimensions are often enough to begin, and we list any missing information for you to supply.
Will you change my design if the wall is not straight?
We do not change the design on our own. We record the site conditions and send you the adjustments needed for a proper fit, then wait for your approval before production.
Can I request a change after the specification is approved?
Yes, changes are possible, but they are handled as a revision. The updated specification is sent for approval before production continues.
Who installs the door?
Our own installation team handles fitting on site, after the door has been finished in our workshop, and checks the operation before handover.
Common mistakes to avoid
Sending a drawing without the opening direction or finish, or assuming the wall is square without a site check, often causes delays and rework. Clear information at the start prevents most problems.
Our recommendation
Mark the opening direction, leaf sizes and hardware positions clearly on your drawing, and allow time for the on-site measurement before the final specification is signed off.
Summary
Our review process checks your drawings against the real site, confirms materials and finishes, and produces a written specification you approve before any door is made.
