Request a Stainless Steel Site Measurement Visit in Tel Aviv
t474-38

To book a stainless steel site measurement, send us photos and a short description of your project, then we schedule an on-site visit with our team. We measure the space precisely, prepare a drawing and written specification, and only start production after you approve it.
Why an on-site measurement matters
Stainless steel is cut and welded to exact dimensions, so a small error in a measurement can mean a railing that does not fit or a gate that binds against the wall. Walls are rarely perfectly straight, floors are not always level, and existing openings can differ from the plans. For this reason we prefer to see the actual space before anything is made.
A proper measurement lets us check the structure, the fixing points and the surroundings, so the piece you order is the piece that fits.
How to request a visit
Start by sending us a few photos of the area and a short note about what you need, such as a balcony railing, a stair handrail or a pergola. Mention the approximate location and any constraints you already know about, like limited access or a shared building entrance.
- Photos from several angles
- A rough description of the work
- Your preferred days and times
We will reply to confirm the appointment.
What happens during the site visit
Our representative walks the area with you, takes detailed measurements and notes the materials of the surrounding surfaces. We check the wall or floor condition, the fixing method and any obstacles such as pipes, wiring or doors that swing into the path.
We also discuss the design options, finishes and how the piece will be opened or used day to day, so the final drawing reflects how you actually live in the space.
From measurement to drawing and approval
After the visit we prepare a drawing and a written specification that describe the dimensions, the stainless steel grade, the finish and the installation method. Please review these carefully and ask any questions before approving.
Your written approval is what releases the project to production. Changes are easier to make at this stage than after cutting begins.
Production and finishing in our factory
Once the drawing is approved, the work is manufactured in our workshop at 37 Rival Street in Tel Aviv, a site we have operated from since 1945. Our team cuts, bends, welds and polishes the stainless steel to the approved specification, then checks each part against the drawing.
Where the design calls for it, pieces are finished to the agreed appearance so they are ready for installation on site.
Installation and what to expect
On installation day our team arrives with the finished pieces, fixes them to the structure as specified and checks alignment, fixings and operation. For railings we also verify the heights and spacing against the Israeli railing standard SI 1142, while exact values are confirmed with the engineer for your project.
Before we leave, we review the finished work with you and answer any questions about care and maintenance.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a site measurement visit take?
The length depends on the size and number of items being measured. We will confirm the expected time when we schedule your appointment.
Do I need to be home during the measurement?
It is best if someone who can make decisions about the design is present. This helps us confirm details and avoid later changes.
Can you measure from photos instead of visiting?
Photos help us prepare, but they cannot replace precise on-site measurements, especially for fixing points and uneven surfaces. We recommend a visit before production.
What should I do before the visit?
Clear the area where possible, note any ideas you have for the design and gather photos of the space. This makes the visit faster and more useful.
Common mistakes to avoid
Ordering stainless steel work based only on a rough sketch or a single measurement taken by hand often leads to misfit pieces. Skipping the written approval step can also cause costly changes once production has begun.
Our recommendation
Measure and photograph the area yourself first, then have a professional verify every dimension on site before approving the drawing. Pay particular attention to wall irregularities and the exact location of fixing points.
Summary
Booking an on-site measurement is the most reliable first step toward well-fitting stainless steel work. It ensures the drawing, production and installation all match your real space.
