Requesting a Custom Iron Fence Quote: Step by Step

t306-41

t306-41

To request an iron fence quote, send photos and basic dimensions of the area, then our team measures on site and prepares a drawing and written specification for your approval. Once you approve, the fence is manufactured to measure in our Tel Aviv factory, finished, and installed.

What to Prepare Before You Contact Us

A good quotation starts with good information. Before you reach out, gather a few photos of the area where the fence will stand, taken from several angles. Note the approximate length of each side, the height you have in mind, and whether the ground slopes.

  • Photos of the existing wall, gate posts or surface
  • Approximate length and height of the fence
  • Desired style, such as vertical bars, flat panels or decorative patterns
  • Whether you need a pedestrian gate or an automatic driveway gate

If you are working with an architect, contractor or building committee, share their plans too. This saves time and avoids guesswork later.

On-Site Measurement

Once we review your request, our team visits the property to measure. Precise measurements matter because every element is made to fit your specific site, not a standard size off a shelf.

During the visit we check the length of each run, the height, the slope of the ground, the condition of the base or wall, and any obstacles such as pipes, meters or trees. We also discuss how the gate will open and where the fence meets neighboring structures.

Drawing and Written Specification

After measuring, we prepare a drawing that shows the layout, height, bar spacing, posts and gate position. The written specification lists the materials, whether iron or aluminum, the finish, and the installation method.

Please review both documents carefully. Ask about anything unclear, such as the pattern or the way sections connect. Structural details, including anchoring and load requirements, are confirmed with the engineer where needed, and the Israeli railing standard SI 1142 is taken into account where it applies.

Client Approval Before Production

Nothing goes into production until you approve the drawing and specification in writing. This step protects you from surprises, because changes are far easier to make on paper than in finished metal.

  • Check dimensions against your own notes
  • Confirm the color and finish
  • Confirm gate type and opening direction

Once approved, we confirm the schedule and begin preparing the order.

Manufacturing in Our Tel Aviv Factory

Your fence is cut, welded and assembled at our workshop at 37 Rival Street in Tel Aviv. Working in-house, our team keeps tight control over every joint and every length, which is how we deliver work made to measure rather than adapted from standard parts.

After fabrication, the pieces go through finishing treatments such as hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion protection and powder coating for the final color. These steps are chosen to suit the material and the exposure of your site.

Installation at Your Property

Our installation team brings the finished elements to your site and sets posts, fixes panels and hangs gates. We align each section carefully, check that gates swing freely, and clean up the work area before leaving.

If you have questions after installation, we are available to review the work with you and help with any adjustments needed.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be home for the on-site measurement?

It is helpful to be present or to have someone who can give access and answer questions about the site. We will agree a convenient time with you.

Can I request a fence if I only have photos?

Photos are a great starting point, but we still need an on-site measurement before preparing a final drawing. This ensures the fence fits exactly.

Can the fence be customized in height and design?

Yes, every fence is made to measure, so height, bar spacing and pattern can be adapted to your preferences and site conditions. Your approval of the drawing comes before production.

Do you work with contractors and architects?

Yes, we regularly work with private homeowners, building committees, contractors, architects and interior designers, and can follow their drawings and specifications.

Common mistakes to avoid

The most common mistake is requesting a quote without measurements or site details, which leads to revisions later. Approving a drawing without checking gate direction and finish is another costly error.

Our recommendation

Send clear photos from several angles and note any slopes or obstacles before we visit. Review the drawing and specification line by line before approving, since changes are easiest to make at that stage.

Summary

Requesting a custom iron fence quote involves photos, on-site measurement, a drawing and specification, your approval, factory production and professional installation.
