Submit Your Door Specifications for a Production Quote
t418-41

To get a production quote for an iron or aluminum door, send your opening measurements, photos of the location, the door type and opening direction, and your finish preference. Our team reviews the details, arranges an on-site measurement if needed, and returns a drawing and written specification for your approval before production starts.
What Information to Include With Your Request
A complete request saves time. Start with the clear width and height of the opening, measured at more than one point, since walls are rarely perfectly square. Add photos of the doorway from inside and outside, and note the wall material and the direction the door should swing.
- Opening width and height (in millimeters)
- Door type: iron, aluminum, or a combination
- Opening direction and handing
- Preferred finish and color
- Photos of the existing frame or surrounding wall
If you have a sketch or an architect's drawing, include it. The more detail you provide, the more accurate the first quote will be.
On-Site Measurement and Drawing
Once we review your request, we arrange a visit to measure the opening ourselves. Our measurement accounts for threshold height, floor finish, and any obstacles that affect swing. We do not rely on estimates alone, because a door built to the wrong size cannot be easily corrected.
After measuring, we prepare a drawing and a written specification. These cover dimensions, materials, profile type, locking hardware, and finish. Please read them carefully before approving.
Approving the Specification
Your approval is the step that locks in the design. Check the dimensions against your own measurements, confirm the swing direction, and make sure the finish and hardware match what you want. If something is wrong, tell us before production begins, since changes made after cutting and welding cost more time.
- Confirm dimensions and swing direction
- Check profile and hardware selection
- Confirm finish color and coating
Production in Our Factory
Your door is manufactured in our workshop at Rival Street 37 in Tel Aviv. Iron and aluminum components are cut, welded or assembled, and checked against the approved drawing. Our team has worked this way since 1945, with each door built to measure rather than chosen from a standard catalog.
Once the frame is complete, it moves to finishing. Iron doors are typically hot-dip galvanized and then powder coated, which protects the metal against weather and corrosion.
Finishing and Quality Check
Finishing is where the door gains its durability and appearance. Hot-dip galvanizing protects iron against rust, and powder coating adds a smooth, colored layer that resists wear. Aluminum doors are finished according to the color and surface chosen at the approval stage.
Before delivery, we inspect the door for straight lines, smooth welds, correct hardware operation, and matching dimensions with the approved specification.
Installation and Handover
Installation is the final step. Our team fits the door into the prepared opening, levels and secures the frame, and tests the locking mechanism and swing. Please make sure the opening is clear and the wall is ready on the agreed date.
After installation, we walk through the door with you, explain how to operate and maintain the hardware, and confirm that everything works as specified.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need exact measurements before I contact you?
Rough measurements are enough to start, but we will confirm everything on site. Send your best estimate with photos, and our team will take precise measurements before drawing the door.
Can I send a sketch instead of a formal drawing?
Yes, a simple sketch with dimensions and notes on the swing direction is helpful. We will prepare the official drawing and specification for your approval.
What if the wall is not straight or level?
This is common, and our on-site measurement accounts for it. We adjust the door design to suit the real opening so it fits properly.
Can I change the design after I approve the specification?
Changes are possible before production begins, but they are harder to make afterward. Please review the drawing carefully before you approve it.
Common mistakes to avoid
Sending only one measurement or skipping photos often leads to fitting problems. Forgetting to specify the swing direction before approval is another frequent error that causes delays.
Our recommendation
Measure the opening at the top, middle, and bottom of the width and height, and write down the smallest values. Share the swing direction and finish from the start so the first specification is right.
Summary
A clear request with accurate measurements, photos, and your preferences leads to a precise iron or aluminum door built to fit your opening.
