Ordering Your Electric Gate: From Quote Request to Delivery
t292-48

Ordering an electric gate starts with a quote request including photos of the entrance, followed by an on-site measurement and a written drawing and specification for your approval. Once you approve, the gate is built to measure in our Tel Aviv factory, finished, and then installed at your property.
Step 1: Send Your Quote Request
The process begins with a simple inquiry. Send us photos of the entrance, a rough sketch if you have one, and a short description of what you need. Tell us whether you want a sliding gate or a swing gate, and whether the space is a private driveway, a building entrance or a shared parking area.
Useful details to include:
- Approximate width of the opening
- Type of ground and whether there is a slope
- Whether a power source is already nearby
- Any preferred color or finish
This information helps us understand the project before we visit.
Step 2: On-Site Measurement
Our team visits the property to measure the opening precisely and check the surroundings. We look at the ground level, the wall or pillar structure, and where the motor, control unit and cables can be placed safely. For a sliding gate we also confirm there is room for the gate to travel. For a swing gate we check the clearance needed for the leaves to open fully.
Measurements are taken on site because small differences in height or alignment affect how the gate moves and how long it lasts.
Step 3: Drawing and Written Specification
After the measurement we prepare a drawing and a written specification. The document describes the gate dimensions, the frame profile, infill pattern, the motor and safety devices, and the finish. Please read it carefully and ask about anything unclear.
What the specification should show
- Overall dimensions and opening width
- Operating type and motor configuration
- Surface treatment such as hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating
- Installation notes for the site
Step 4: Approval and Production
Nothing goes into production until you approve the drawing and specification in writing. Once approved, the gate is manufactured to your measurements in our factory. Welding, cutting and assembly are done in-house, and each part is checked against the drawing before moving on.
Finishing follows production. Hot-dip galvanizing protects the steel from corrosion, and powder coating gives the final color and surface. These steps are scheduled so the gate arrives ready to install.
Step 5: Delivery and Installation
When the gate and its components are ready, we arrange transport and installation at your property. Our installers fix the posts or pillars, mount the gate, connect the motor, and test the opening and closing cycle. Safety features are checked during this stage.
Please make sure the access route is clear on the agreed day and that a power point is available if the motor requires one.
Step 6: Handover and Follow-Up
At handover we walk through the gate's operation with you, explain how to use the remote or control system, and answer questions. We recommend a periodic check of the moving parts and the motor, especially in a busy parking area where the gate runs many times a day.
If anything needs adjustment after installation, contact us and we will review it with you.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to send exact measurements before the visit?
Rough measurements and photos are enough to start. We take the exact dimensions on site so the gate fits the opening precisely.
Can I see the design before the gate is built?
Yes. You receive a drawing and written specification, and production begins only after you approve them.
Is a sliding gate or a swing gate better for my entrance?
It depends on available space and the layout of the driveway. A sliding gate suits limited space in front of the entrance, while a swing gate suits a clear area for the leaves to open.
Do you install the gate yourselves?
Yes, our team handles installation, motor connection and testing at your property.
Common mistakes to avoid
Many buyers order before checking the space needed for the gate to move, or forget to plan the power supply for the motor. Confirm both during the measurement stage to avoid changes later.
Our recommendation
Mark the exact spot where you want the gate and motor before the measurement visit, and check the ground for slope and obstacles. This makes the planning faster and the installation smoother.
Summary
The electric gate ordering process moves from your quote request to measurement, approved drawings, factory production, and professional installation. Clear planning at each step keeps the project on track.
