Parking Barrier Manufacturing Process: From Order to Delivery
t460-11

Our parking barrier manufacturing process runs in six stages: inquiry, on-site measurement, drawing and written specification, client approval, production in our Tel Aviv factory, and installation after finishing. Each stage is confirmed with you before the next one starts, so the barrier is built to the real dimensions of your entrance. Lead time depends mainly on the approval stage and the finish you choose.
Step 1: Inquiry and photos
The process starts with a message from you. Send photos of the entrance, the road width, the existing posts or pavement, and a short note on how the barrier will be used. Tell us whether it is for a private driveway, a building committee, or a commercial lot, since this affects the design.
Early photos help us spot likely issues before we visit, such as slopes, underground services or limited space for the counterweight. This first review is free of obligation and tells you what the next step will involve.
Step 2: On-site measurement
One of our team members visits the site to measure the opening, the height clearance and the foundation area. We check how the ground drains, where the barrier will sit relative to the road, and how the arm will swing without hitting a car, wall or tree.
- Clear width of the entrance
- Surface type and condition for the base
- Power supply location if the barrier is automated
Accurate measurement at this stage prevents most delays later.
Step 3: Drawing and written specification
After the visit we prepare a drawing and a written specification. The drawing shows the barrier layout, arm length, post position and base detail. The specification lists the materials, the finish, the operating method and the installation scope, so you know exactly what you are approving.
For structural and safety points, such as anchoring and load, we confirm exact values with the responsible engineer rather than relying on general figures.
Step 4: Client approval
We send the drawing and specification for your sign-off. Please review the arm length, the colour, the operating method and the installation details carefully. If you are a building committee or work with an architect or contractor, we can send the documents to them as well.
Production starts only after written approval. Changes requested after this point may affect the schedule, so it pays to check everything now.
Step 5: Production and finishing in our factory
Production takes place in our factory at 37 Rival Street, Tel Aviv. We cut and weld the steel frame, fit the arm and mechanism, and prepare the parts for finishing. For outdoor barriers we use hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating, which protect against rain, sea air and sun.
Each barrier is assembled and checked before it leaves the workshop, so installation on site goes smoothly.
Step 6: Delivery and installation
Once the finishing is complete, we schedule the installation with you. Our crew sets the base, fixes the posts, mounts the arm, connects the mechanism and tests the operation with you present. We explain how to use the barrier and what routine checks to carry out.
Tell us your preferred installation window when you approve the drawing, so we can plan the crew and any power connection in advance.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the parking barrier process take?
The total time depends on how quickly the drawing is approved, the chosen finish, and the production schedule. We confirm the expected timeline with you after the site measurement, once the scope is clear.
Do I need to be present for the measurement?
It helps if you or your representative are there, especially if you have particular needs for the entrance. We can also work from your photos and measurements, but a site visit reduces the risk of errors.
Can the barrier be changed after I approve the drawing?
Small changes can sometimes be made, but any change after approval may affect production and the schedule. It is best to review the drawing thoroughly before you sign off.
Who installs the barrier?
Our own team handles the installation at your site, from setting the base to testing the operation. We coordinate with your electrician if an electrical connection is needed.
Common mistakes to avoid
The most common delay comes from approving a drawing without checking the arm length and clearance against the real site. Skipping the on-site measurement or changing the design late in the process also adds time.
Our recommendation
Measure the clear opening and the swing area yourself before you contact us, and mark where the power supply is. Having this ready shortens the measurement and drawing stages considerably.
Summary
Our parking barrier process moves from inquiry to measurement, drawing, approval, factory production, finishing and installation, with each step confirmed by you.
