Book Professional Glass Vitrine Measurement Service | Techno Kol Uzi
t432-36

To book a vitrine measurement, contact Techno Kol Uzi with photos and a short description of the space, and we will arrange an on-site visit. Our technician measures the opening, checks the floor and wall conditions, and prepares a drawing and written specification for your approval before production starts.
Why an On-Site Measurement Matters
A glass vitrine or partition is only as good as the measurements it is built from. Photos help us understand the project, but they cannot show whether a wall is out of plumb, whether the floor is uneven, or where a light switch or pipe sits behind the surface. For this reason we always recommend booking an on-site measurement before anything is ordered.
Measuring on site lets us catch problems early, when changes are still simple and inexpensive. It also gives you a clear picture of how the finished piece will look in the actual room.
What Happens During the Visit
Our technician arrives at the agreed time and takes precise measurements of the opening or area where the glass will sit. We check levelness, verticality and the condition of the surrounding surfaces, and we note access routes for transporting the glass.
- Width and height at several points
- Floor and ceiling levels
- Wall condition and fixing points
- Door swing and nearby obstacles
From Measurement to Drawing
After the visit we prepare a drawing that shows the layout, dimensions, glass type, frame or profile details and the position of any doors. Alongside the drawing you receive a written specification listing the materials and finishes, so there is no guesswork about what will be produced.
We do not start production until you have reviewed and approved both the drawing and the specification. If you want a change, it is much easier to make it at this stage.
Production in Our Tel Aviv Workshop
Once approved, the vitrine or partition is manufactured in our factory at Rival Street 37 in Tel Aviv. Our team cuts and assembles the metal and aluminum components, then the frames go through the finishing steps chosen for your project, such as hot-dip galvanizing or powder coating where relevant.
Working in our own workshop lets us check each piece against the approved drawing before it leaves the factory.
Installation and Final Check
Installation is carried out by our team, who bring the assembled pieces to your site and fix them according to the drawing. We check alignment, levelness and fixing as we work, and we make sure the glass is seated correctly and the surfaces are clean when we finish.
Before we leave, we walk through the installation with you so you know how to care for the glass and frame.
How to Prepare for Your Visit
A little preparation makes the measurement faster and more accurate. Clear the area where possible, and let us know about any ongoing building work, fixed fittings or access limits such as elevators and narrow stairs.
- Send photos of the space from several angles
- Note the intended use of the vitrine or partition
- Tell us about any planned doors or openings
- Confirm who will be present at the visit
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be home during the measurement?
It is best that someone who can make decisions about the space is present. This allows us to answer questions about the layout and confirm details on the spot.
Can you measure from photos alone?
Photos are useful for an initial discussion, but we recommend an on-site measurement before production. Hidden conditions and small variations in walls and floors can only be confirmed in person.
What do I receive after the measurement?
You receive a drawing with the dimensions and layout, together with a written specification of the materials and finishes. Production begins only after you approve both.
Do you install the glass vitrines yourselves?
Yes, our team handles installation from the factory-finished pieces, checking alignment and fixing as we work.
Common mistakes to avoid
A common mistake is measuring a space yourself and ordering glass before the wall or floor has been checked, which often leads to gaps or misfits. Skipping the approved drawing and specification step is another frequent cause of avoidable changes.
Our recommendation
Book the on-site measurement after the room is close to its final state, including any plastering or floor finishing, so the measurements reflect the finished surfaces. Ask for the drawing and specification in writing and check the door swing and access route before approving.
Summary
Booking an on-site measurement is the most reliable way to plan a glass vitrine or partition correctly. Techno Kol Uzi measures, drafts, produces in our Tel Aviv factory and installs once you have approved the plan.
