Start Your Glass Partition Project: Consultation Guide
t432-39

A glass partition consultation is the first planning step, where we review your space, photos and goals before any work begins. It covers on-site measurement, a written specification and a clear production and installation plan so you know exactly what will be built.
What Happens in the First Consultation
Your consultation starts with a conversation about what you want the glass to do. You might need a room divider that keeps light flowing, a display vitrine for a shop, or a partition that adds sound separation to an office. Send us photos of the space and any sketches you have, and we will review them before we visit.
This first step helps us understand the layout, the traffic flow and the look you prefer, so the next meeting is focused and productive.
On-Site Measurement and Survey
Measurement is where the project becomes precise. We visit the site and record exact dimensions, floor and ceiling conditions, wall materials and any obstacles such as pipes, sockets or uneven surfaces. Accurate measurement prevents costly corrections later.
- Room and opening dimensions, taken at several points
- Floor levelness and ceiling height
- Access route for moving glass panels into the building
- Door swing, lighting and electrical positions
Drawing and Written Specification
After measurement we prepare a drawing and a written specification. The drawing shows the layout, panel sizes and door positions. The specification lists the glass type, thickness, frame or frameless detail, hardware and finish, so every decision is documented.
Please review both carefully. Changes are much easier to make at this stage than after production begins.
Client Approval and Production
Once you approve the drawing and specification in writing, we move to production in our factory at 37 Rival Street, Tel Aviv. Glass, aluminum and stainless steel components are cut and assembled to the approved measurements, then checked before they leave the workshop.
Working from a confirmed plan keeps the project on track and reduces surprises for everyone involved.
Finishing and Safety Considerations
Finishing choices affect both appearance and performance. Frame finishes such as powder coating or other surface treatments can be selected to suit your interior. For glass, we discuss safety requirements, edge treatment and the appropriate glazing for the use, whether a shop display, a home partition or a busy office.
Where a structural or safety detail needs confirmation, we review it with the engineer before production.
Installation and Handover
Installation is carried out by our team once production is complete. We protect the surrounding area, fix the frames and panels securely and check alignment, sealing and hardware operation. Before handover we walk through the finished work with you so you know how to care for the glass and fittings.
Frequently asked questions
Is the glass partition consultation free?
Please contact us directly to discuss the consultation details for your project. We are happy to explain what the first step includes.
What should I send before the consultation?
Photos of the space from several angles, approximate dimensions if you have them, and a short note on what you want the glass to achieve. Sketches or reference images are also helpful.
How long does the process take from consultation to installation?
Timing depends on the size and complexity of the project and on production scheduling. We confirm the timeline once the specification has been approved.
Can I change the design after approving the drawing?
Changes are possible before production starts, but they may affect the plan. Once production has begun, changes are harder to make, so we recommend finalizing the drawing carefully.
Common mistakes to avoid
Choosing a partition based only on photos without on-site measurement often leads to fitting problems. Skipping review of the written specification can also cause mismatches in glass type, finish or hardware.
Our recommendation
Walk through the space at different times of day to see how light and sightlines change, and mark exactly where you want doors and openings. Bring those notes to your consultation so the drawing reflects real use.
Summary
A glass partition consultation turns your idea into a measured, documented plan before production begins. Careful measurement, a clear specification and approval at each stage give you a result that fits your space.
