Scheduling Glass Railing Installation Dates With Our Team

t348-42

t348-42

To schedule glass railing installation, start with an inquiry and photos, then book an on-site measurement so the glass is cut to your exact dimensions. Once you approve the written drawing, production and finishing are planned in the factory and the installation date is set around them.

Start With an Inquiry and Photos

The first step in scheduling glass railing installation is getting in touch with our team. Send photos of the balcony, stairs or terrace, and tell us roughly where the railing will go and how it is used. Photos help us understand the site before we visit and show whether the existing structure, floor or wall is suitable for a glass railing.

Please also mention any deadlines you are working against, such as a tiling date, a building inspection or the arrival of other trades. Knowing the sequence of the project lets us propose realistic slots instead of guessing.

On-Site Measurement Comes Before Production

Glass railings are made to measure, so a site visit is essential. Our technician checks the exact length of each run, the height of the finished floor, the fixing surface and any corners, steps or obstacles. Measuring on site means small irregularities in the building are captured before anything is cut.

  • Confirm the finished floor level, not just the structural slab.
  • Note the fixing method: floor, wall, edge or stair stringer.
  • Record any existing railings or fixtures that must be removed.

Drawing and Written Specification

After measuring, we prepare a drawing and a written specification for your approval. The document shows the layout, glass type, fixing method, finish and the position of every post or clamp. Please read it carefully and compare it with your plans, because changes are much easier before production starts.

Once you approve the drawing in writing, the order moves to the production queue and a provisional installation window can be confirmed.

Factory Production and Finishing

With the approved specification, the steel and aluminum parts are cut, welded and assembled at our factory on Rival Street in Tel Aviv. Finishing, such as hot-dip galvanizing or powder coating, is scheduled as part of production, because coating needs time to cure before the parts can be handled and transported.

Because production is done in the factory rather than on site, the installation date depends on when the finished parts are ready. We will tell you when the work is complete so the installation slot can be locked in.

Choosing and Confirming the Installation Slot

Installation is booked once production is nearly complete and the site is ready. A site is ready when the floor or wall is finished enough to accept fixings, access for the crew and materials is clear, and any preceding trades have finished their work nearby.

  • Confirm access, parking and working hours with the building committee if needed.
  • Keep the area around the installation clear of furniture and loose items.
  • Agree in advance on who will be present at the site.

On-Site Fitting and Final Check

On installation day, the crew fixes the posts or clamps, sets the glass panels and checks alignment, level and fixing security. Any adjustments are made before the crew leaves. We walk through the finished railing with you so you know how to care for the glass and what to report if something needs attention.

For exact values such as heights, load requirements and fixing details, the checks follow the Israeli railing standard SI 1142 and are confirmed with the engineer on your project.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book a glass railing installation?

Book as soon as your project timeline is clear, because production takes time after the drawing is approved. Contact us early so we can propose a realistic installation window.

Do I need to be home during the measurement or installation?

Someone should be available to give access and answer questions about the site. For installation, it helps to have a representative who can approve the final layout.

Can the installation date change after I confirm it?

Changes are possible if the site is not ready or specifications change, so please let us know as early as you can. We will work with you to find a new slot.

What should I prepare before the installation day?

Clear the work area, confirm access and parking, and make sure the floor or wall surfaces are finished. Keep the approved drawing handy so you can check it against the installed railing.

Common mistakes to avoid

Booking installation before the drawing is approved or before the site is finished often causes delays and rework. Measure and confirm the finished floor level before production begins.

Our recommendation

Confirm the finished floor level and the approved drawing in writing before setting an installation date, and leave a little flexibility in your schedule for final adjustments.

Summary

Scheduling glass railing installation with our team follows a clear sequence: inquiry, on-site measurement, approved drawing, factory production and finishing, then installation once the site is ready.
