Book a Free Site Visit for Your Steel Staircase Design
t390-27

A steel staircase site visit is the first on-site step where our team measures your opening, checks the structure and discusses your preferred design. It lets us produce an accurate drawing and written specification before anything goes into production. Booking it early avoids measurement errors and delays later in the project.
What Happens During the Site Visit
During the visit, one of our team members comes to your home or building and takes precise measurements of the staircase opening, the floor levels, the wall and ceiling details, and the landing areas. We look at how the staircase will connect to the existing floor and what kind of fixing is possible. Photos and a short conversation about the look you want help us understand the project from the start.
The visit is free and there is no obligation to order. It usually focuses on giving you clear information so you can decide with confidence.
Preparing for Your Visit
A little preparation makes the visit more useful. Gather any existing plans, photos of the space, and a note of how the staircase will be used, such as daily family traffic or a more occasional route.
- Clear access to the staircase area and the surrounding floors
- Information about the material of the floors and walls
- Your preferred style, railing type and finish, if you have them in mind
- Any building committee or contractor requirements you have been given
From Measurement to Drawing and Specification
After the measurements, our team prepares a drawing and a written specification. The drawing shows the stair geometry, stringers, treads, landings and railing layout. The specification lists the materials, profiles, connections and finishes we propose.
You receive these documents for review before production starts. Any changes you ask for are made at this stage, when they are simplest to handle.
Client Approval and Production
Once you approve the drawing and specification in writing, the project moves to our factory at 37 Rival Street in Tel Aviv. Each steel component is cut, shaped and welded to measure, so the staircase fits the space as drawn. Quality checks are carried out during production to confirm dimensions match the approved plan.
Finishing and Protection
Steel stairs are finished to protect them in daily use. Depending on the design, components may receive hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion resistance and powder coating for a durable colored or textured surface. We will recommend the finish that suits your location, your style and how the staircase will be used.
Installation at Your Home
Our team installs the staircase on site, fixing it to the structure as specified. Before work begins we agree on the installation schedule with you so the space can be prepared. Once installed, we check alignment, railing height and fixings, and walk you through how the staircase has been finished and what care it needs.
Frequently asked questions
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, the site visit is free and there is no obligation to order. It gives you accurate information and a clear picture of what your steel staircase project will involve.
What should I have ready before the visit?
Have any existing plans or photos of the area, your preferred style if you know it, and clear access to the staircase location. Note any building committee or contractor requirements you have received.
How soon after the visit do I receive the drawing?
After measurement we prepare a drawing and written specification for your review. We will confirm the timing with you when we book the visit.
Do I have to approve the drawing before production starts?
Yes, production begins only after you approve the drawing and specification in writing. This ensures the staircase is built exactly as agreed.
Common mistakes to avoid
A common mistake is ordering a staircase based on rough estimates instead of precise on-site measurements. Waiting until after production to think about the railing style or finish often leads to costly changes.
Our recommendation
Book the site visit before choosing a final design, and bring photos and any building requirements so the drawing reflects your real space. Review the specification carefully and confirm every detail before approving production.
Summary
A free site visit is the most reliable first step toward a well-fitting steel staircase. Measuring on site, approving a clear drawing and then producing and installing to plan keeps your project accurate and stress-free.
